For example, we believe that our direct engagement regarding California legislation promoting the in-state production and distribution of biomethane as a practical step toward furthering the state’s greenhouse gas and short-lived climate pollutant reduction goals aligns with the Paris Agreement because it could enable emissions reductions in transportation and agriculture, which are sources of nitrogen oxides and methane emissions, respectively. Trade Associations
